When you play Fortnite tournaments, you’re often playing a slightly modified version of the game. While they do have the same season and mechanics most of the time, the loot pool is often not the same. Any items that border on being “broken” or “overpowered” often get removed.
Epic Games tries to keep everything balanced in the entire game, but it matters a little more in competitive modes. As a result, they’ve removed three prominent items from tournaments that are in the regular loot pool.

When you load into Battle Royale or Zero Build, you can use the Falcon Eye Sniper Rifle, Fletcher Kane’s Double Down Pistol, and the Mammoth Pistol if you find it. From now on, that won’t be true in Fortnite tournaments according to ShiinaBR.
Those items have been deemed a little too unfair for competitive play. Every so often, that happens. Mythic items especially are often removed from tournament modes to keep as balanced a loot pool as possible.
Those weapons are almost always the best ones you can get. In regular Battle Royale, it’s ok to have that advantage, but Epic wants to keep it to the regular loot pool for tournaments. This way, the only way to get the advantage of better loot is to search chests or eliminate someone else for it. The train chest is a good place, too.
The Mammoth Pistol is a regular weapon, but the Mythic version is called Baron’s Double Down Pistol. Both are no longer in tournament play. The pistol has one in the magazine that will deal high damage, and the Mythic version does even more damage with better stats overall. It still only has one bullet in the magazine, though.
The Falcon Eye Sniper Rifle comes in all rarities. That includes Mythic. It’s a pretty standard sniper that doesn’t do anything special. However, it can be a little overpowered in the higher rarities. These three weapons are gone now. You can only get them in non-tournament modes.
