The next Fortnite update has been delayed to Thursday, June 13. It’s also going to be much bigger than expected, as Epic Games is anticipating some downtime after the update. This indicates that it will be a much bigger update than a normal weekly patch. Season changes are usually the only updates with downtime, so it’s reasonable to expect big things following Thursday’s patch. Here’s what we can expect to see.

The next update to Fortnite is going to be massive for Chapter 5 Season 3, but it will also be a new season of Festival mode. The Billie Eilish skins and songs will go away, and a new featured artist will arrive with their mini-pass. That artist is expected to be Metallica, the prominent band rumored to be getting a concert later this year as well. This means that Metallica will get a skin, though it’s unclear how Epic will handle a band being the featured artist as opposed to a solo act like The Weekend or Lady Gaga.
Besides the Festival update, there’s also a lot more to expect. Nick Eh 30 recently teased an Icon Series skin, and it’s expected that following today’s official reveal, it will be added to the game in the next update. It will presumably be in the Item Shop for a long time. The 30.20 update is also expected to add one major change: Jam Tracks as Lobby Music. Following the next Fortnite update, players can use bad guy or Cantina Band as their background music if they so choose.

It’s also expected that the battle pass super styles will be revealed. The bonus outfits for the T-60 Power Armor, Megalo Don, and other Fortnite characters will finally be seen. There may also be some Fallout-themed cosmetics in the Item Shop to further the collaboration based on the early patch notes. Since summer is right around the corner, many expect the return of summer items and an event. This is just the early notes, which means much more will come in the actual update this Thursday.

The new Fortnite update looks and sounds cool I hope they ad the some more mad max stuff like spike tires or even bring back the mudflap it’ll be a really cool thing, but I don’t know I’m still updating the game. They should add armor for the car around it and bulletproof glass some more mad Max weapons, and so much more. I hope to see Fortnite add one of these cool stuff and I hope Fortnite can see this !
