Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has arrived, and arguably offers some of FromSoftware’s toughest challenges yet. It’s not for the faint-hearted or the impatient, but to prepare, you need to make sure you’re kitted out with the right gear. That’s why we’ve put together a list of all the new Armor Sets in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, so you know how to find everything you could possibly need to make the new DLC a breeze.

Ansbach’s Set

all new Armor Sets in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Set: Ansbach’s Attire, Ansbach’s Manchettes, Ansbach’s Boots, and Wise Man’s Mask
Where to find: Defeat Sir Ansbach in the Shadow Keep Storehouse

Note: killing Sir Ansbach for Ansbach’s Set will totally break his questline. It’s the price you pay for looking this cool.

Ascetic’s Set

Set: Ascetic’s Loincloth, Ascetic’s Wrist Guards, Ascetic’s Ankle Guards, and Curseblade Mask
Where to find: Defeat Masked Curseblades around the Lands of Shadow

Ascetic’s Set is certainly one of the most exposed new Armor Sets in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. You shouldn’t have too many issues finding this one.

Black Knight Set

Set: Black Knight Armor, Black Knight Gauntlets, Black Knight Greaves, and Black Knight Helm
Where to find: Defeat Black Knights around the Lands of Shadow

Farm Black Knights, get the Black Knight Set. Simple!

Common Soldier Set

Set: Common Soldier Cloth Armor, Common Soldier Gauntlets, Common Soldier Greaves, and Common Soldier Helm
Where to find: Defeat soldiers in Castle Ensis

This one should take minutes to find once you’re in Castle Ensis. No excuses for not getting the Common Soldier Set.

Dancer’s Set

Set: Dancer’s Dress, Dancer’s Bracer, Dancer’s Trousers, and Dancer’s Hood
Where to find: Defeat Dancer of Ranah in the Southern Nameless Mausoleum

You won’t be camouflaging anytime soon in the Dancer’s Set, but you’ll definitely look snazzy. By far one of the most visually interesting new Armor Sets in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Dane’s Set

Set: Dryleaf Robe, Dryleaf Arm Wraps, Dryleaf Cuissardes, and Dane’s Hat
Where to find: Looted under a waterfall in Bonny Village, accessed from the Ruins of Unte

Okay, there’s no denying how awesome Dane’s Set looks. But is it actually useful? You decide.

Death Knight Set

Set: Death Knight Armor, Death Knight Gauntlets, Death Knight Greaves, and Death Knight Helm
Where to find: After taking the second elevator down in Darklight Catacombs, you’ll enter a chamber. In here, you can find a lootable Death Knight corpse which holds the set.

Emerge from Darklight Catacombs with the Death Knight Set to find an Elden Ring Armor Set that has pretty decent stats, all things considered.

Divine Beast Set

Set: Divine Beast Warrior Armor and Divine Beast Helm
Where to find: Dropped by Divine Beast Warriors

Not to be confused with the Divine Beast Head – the Divine Beast Set is completely its own thing. Can be farmed in the first legacy dungeon.

Divine Bird Set

Set: Divine Bird Warrior Armor, Divine Bird Warrior Gauntlets, Divine Bird Warrior Gauntlets, and Divine Bird Helm
Where to find: Dropped by Divine Bird Warriors

Well, you’re definitely going to stand out if you’re using the Divine Bird Set in Elden Ring.

Fire Knight Set

Set: Fire Knight Armor, Fire Knight Gauntlets, Fire Knight Greaves, and Fire Knight Helm
Where to find: Defeat Fire Knights in the Shadow Keep

With some awesome HP bonuses, the Fire Knight Set is a solid new Armor Set for the challenges Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree throws your way.

Freyja’s Set

Set: Freyja’s Armor, Freyja’s Gauntlets, Freyja’s Greaves, and Freyja’s Helm
Where to find: Defeat Redmane Freyja during Sir Ansbach’s questline

Freyja’s Set is picked up during Sir Ansbach’s questline, so as long as you keep that active, you should stumble upon this new Armor Set in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree naturally.

Gaius’s Set

Set: Gaius’s Armor, Gaius’s Gauntlets, Gaius’s Greaves, and Gaius’s Helm
Where to find: Purchase from Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold after defeating Commander Gaius

Gaius’s Set – boar not included.

Gravebird Set

Set: Gravebird’s Blackquill Armor, Gravebird Bracelets, Gravebird Anklets, and Gravebird Helm
Where to find: North of the Temple Town Ruins Site of Grace, in the red forest on the map, looted from an altar

The Gravebird Set gives you cool wings, so we’re on board.

High Priest Set

Set: High Priest Robe, High Priest Gloves, High Priest Undergarments, and High Priest Hat
Where to find: Defeat Count Ymir

The High Priest Set isn’t the best new Armor Set Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has to offer, but we’re sure someone will find some cheesy build to use it in.

Horned Warrior Set

Set: Horned Warrior Armor, Horned Warrior Gauntlets, Horned Warrior Greaves, and Horned Warrior Helm
Where to find: Defeat the Horned Warrior near the Small Provate Altar Site of Grace

You can nab the Horned Warrior Set pretty early in your adventure, making it well worthwhile.

Hornsent Set

Set: Braided Cord Robe, Braided Arm Wraps, Soiled Loincloth, and Caterpillar Mask
Where to find: Complete the Hornsent questline

If you don’t mind looking a little creepy, the Hornsent Set might be right up your alley.

Igon’s Set

Set: Igon’s Armor, Igon’s Gauntlets, Igon’s Loincloth, and Igon’s Helm
Where to find: Loot Igon after defeating Bayle the Dread

It’s a shame Igon has to die for us to get Igon’s Set, but his loss is certainly our gain.

Iron Rivet Set

Set: Iron Rivet Armor, Iron Rivet Gauntlets, Iron Rivet Greaves, and Pelt of Ralva
Where to find: Iron Rivet pieces are dropped by defeating Red Bear, while Pelt of Ralva is dropped by defeating Ralva the Great Red Bear

With the Iron Rivet Set, you wear a bear pelt on your head. Sold.

Highland Warrior Set

Set: Gloried Attire, Leather Arm Wraps, Leather Leg Wraps, and Leather Headband
Where to find: Head northwest of the Ravine North Site of Grace into a forest. In the middle of the forest is a stone with the set on top of it

If a Highland Warrior Set appears in the woods, and no one grabs it, did it ever really appear? Don’t miss this new Armor Set in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Messmer Soldier Set

Set: Messmer Soldier Armor, Messmer Soldier Gauntlets, Messmer Soldier Greaves, and Messmer Soldier Helm
Where to find: Defeat Messmer Soldiers around the Lands of Shadow

You can easily pick up the Messmer Soldier Set early on in Shadow of the Erdtree – it’s nothing to write home about.

Messmer’s Set

Set: Messmer’s Armor, Messmer’s Gauntlets, Messmer’s Greaves, and Messmer’s Helm
Where to find: Purchase from Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold after defeating Messmer the Impaler

The armor of Messmer the Impaler, Messmer’s Set is great for those who want to cosplay the game’s cover art villain.

Night Set

Set: Armor of Night, Gauntlets of Night, Greaves of Night, and Helm of Night
Where to find: Head to the top level of Bonny Gaol, and loot the Night Set from a corpse

The Night Set is comfortably one of the creepiest new Armor Sets in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. This one will strike fear into your foes.

Oathseeker Knight Set

Set: Oathseeker Knight Armor, Oathseeker Knight Gauntlets, Oathseeker Knight Greaves, and Oathseeker Knight Helm
Where to find: Looted from a hanging body outside the Church of Benediction

Once you know where to find the Oathseeker Night Set, it’s not too difficult to get your hands on.

Rakshasa Set

Set: Rakshasa Armor, Rakshasa Gauntlets, Rakshasa Greaves, and Rakshasa Helm
Where to find: Defeat Rakshasa in the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum

You shouldn’t have too many issues taking down Rakshasa to loot the Rakshasa Set.

Rellana’s Set

Set: Rellana’s Armor, Rellana’s Gauntlets, Rellana’s Greaves, and Rellana’s Helm
Where to find: Purchase from Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold after defeating Rellana, Twin Moon Knight

Like many other bosses, purchasing Rellana’s Set allows you to play dress-up as one of the game’s most formidable foes.

Shadow Militiaman Set

Set: Shadow Militiaman Armor, Shadow Militiaman Gauntlets, Shadow Militiaman Greaves, and Shadow Militiaman Helm
Where to find: Dropped by Shadow Militiamen around the Lands of Shadow

There are a few different places to find these enemies, meaning that obtaining the Shadow Militiaman Set should be a breeze.

Solitude Set

Set: Armor of Solitude, Gauntlets of Solitude, Greaves of Solitude, and Helm of Solitude
Where to find: Defeat the Knight of the Solitary Gaol in the Western Nameless Mausoleum

The Solitude Set is a worthy reward for a tough fight. Wear this new Armor Set in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree with pride!

Thiollier’s Set

Set: Thiollier’s Garb, Thiollier’s Gloves, Thiollier’s Trousers, and Thiollier’s Mask
Where to find: Summon Thiollier during the battle at the end of his questline, then loot his body in the boss arena after the fight

Make sure you don’t miss Thiollier’s Set at the end of his questline! It’s easily done if you don’t loot his corpse.

Verdigris Set

Set: Verdigris Armor, Verdigris Gauntlets, Verdigris Greaves, and Verdigris Helm
Where to find: Given as a reward for completing Moore’s questline

The Verdigris Set is a fantastic new Armor Set in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, perfect for those who prefer a heavy armor approach.

Young Lion’s Set

Set: Young Lion’s Armor, Young Lion’s Gauntlets, Young Lion’s Greaves, and Young Lion’s Helm
Where to find: Purchase from Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold after defeating Promised Consort Radahn

As the Armor Set worn by a young Radahn, the Young Lion’s Set is some of the coolest-looking armor Shadow of the Erdtree has to offer.
