With the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, FFXIV received dozens of new zones for players to explore and discover. With the game just released into early access on June 28, and only the most hardcore having raced through the MSQ, not every location has been found.
Still, there’s lots of information about the new locations available, and we’ve tried to compile them together here. Here’s all the new zones in FFXIV Dawntrail.

The seat of the Tural nation, and the first city you’ll encounter, Tuliyollal is the crux of much of Dawntrail’s early game.

A high-tech, futuristic city made from a mysterious material, Solution Nine seems like a paradise, but may hold dark secrets within its bright lights.

A peruvian-themed area filed with Alpacas and meso-american villages, Urqopacha is the home of many of the merchant Pelupelu, who make trade out of Alpaca fur, Mate tea and Mescal spirits.

An area filled with verdant forests, and an agricultural center, Kozama’uka is home to the Hanu and the Moblins. With breath-taking waterfalls, and a pair of unique cultures, this is truely and amazing place to discover Tural and its people.

A jungle area, Yak’Tel is split into the bountiful upper level, filled with waters and plants, and a lower level, filled with mysterious bioluminescence and meteor fragments. This place is home to both the Mamool Ja in the lower areas, and Xbr’aal (Hrothgar) in the heights.

An old-west inspired area that is filled with cowboys, railway-men, and gunslingers, this is one of the most unique zones in FFXIV, but perhaps not in inspiration. We’re a little upset there’s not a straight up cowb0y glamour for this zone!

A fusion between two reflections, Heritage Found is where Tural and Alexandria fused, creating a new and strange land. Filled with lightning, high-tech vehicles and buildings, ruins of old towns, and lightning rods, this is era and dangerous place.

Part of the wider area known as the “Unlost World” by Wuk Lamat, the Living Memory is an artificial world created for the “Endless,” seemingly living memories of Alexandria’s subjects. This area was completely unknown to players before the release and is a very unique (and sometimes heart-breaking) area to be in.
