It’s a rather niche genre appealing to a certain type of gamer, although that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few truly great titles here. We’re having a look at all the best construction simulator games you can play in 2025, with a few you might not have heard of before.

The early Access game ContractVille lets you start from the bottom with nothing. You begin the game penniless with a dream and build your own home to sell at auction. It’s got some solid building mechanics, rivalling the best construction simulator games around, and as you progress, you’ll slowly begin to build a property empire thanks to your efforts. There’s even some co-op play, allowing you to build homes alongside your friends.

House Flipper 2 allows you to bring your craziest house-build ideas to life. Whether it’s renovating run-down homes, or building entirely new ones, you’ll have a blast in one of the best construction simulator games ever. Overall, House Flipper 2 is probably the most well-known game on this list, and for good reason. It’s an extremely cosy experience, which is unusual to find in most construction simulators out there.

Poly Bridge 3 might seem like a rogue choice, but for us, it’s definitely among the best construction simulator games. The concept is simple. Construct a bridge between point A and point B, making it sturdy enough for a vehicle to reach the other side. The different requirements of each bridge make this a great challenge, with over 100 levels to complete in the campaign. Alternatively, there’s also a sandbox mode, where you’re able to see how crazy you can get with your bridge-building skills.

Builder Simulator is for the players who want to get down and dirty. Brick by brick, you build houses, with different difficulty levels determining the help you’ll get. If you’re confident in your skills, go for hard mode, where you’ll build a house all by yourself. You start by digging the foundations and end with placing the interior decor in Builder Simulator. There’s not a ton of depth outside of this, but what it does, it does perfectly. For us, we think it’s one of the best construction simulator games ever made and is geared toward hardcore fans of the genre.

Construction Simulator is the 2022 release in the long-established series. The goal is to build a construction business from scratch, providing the most immersive experience of any game on this list. There’s a ton of different construction apparatus to use here, providing a variety of ways to play, and featuring a bunch of licensed brands from the construction world that enthusiasts will recognize. Like most of the best construction simulator games, it also features extensive multiplayer features – after all, building with friends is always more fun.
