The Light Brigade is a roguelike that is different from many others on PS5. It is played like a first-person shooter, which is not something that you will often encounter in this genre. The fact that you are fighting through each run in first person makes the action feel way more intense and personal.

Until You Fall is a VR-first hack-and-slash roguelike that plonks you in a glowing crystal wilderness called Rokar. As the final Rune Knight, you are the one who will have to struggle against monsters and corrupted spirits with magical weapons and special moves.
New layouts and enemy setups are found in each run, and you get loot and buffs after every level. When you finally fall, you return to your base for gear upgrades and stats. Then, you’re thrown back in, tougher than the last time.

Risk of Rain 2 is one of the best third-person roguelike shooter games for PS5. It’s packed with a good gameplay loop and a whole bunch of characters that all play differently. Dead Cells doesn’t provide you with an easy story. You are this strange green blob that can possess dead bodies. The first one that you conquer lies in a prison, and that is where your adventure begins.
The world that you will be exploring is dark and full of mutated, corrupted monsters. You will get the hints of the story from the environment, hidden clues, and even little references to other games, such as a body with a Headcrab from Half-Life.
