How To Get the Chocorpokkur Mount and Other July FFXIV Twitch Drops
Final Fantasy XIV’s latest expansion, Dawntrail, has just dropped, and to celebrate, Square Enix has teamed up with Twitch to give players a new FFXIV Chocorpokkur mount. This collaboration will ensure anyone tuning into Twitch to experience Dawntrail with their favorite streamer will be rewarded with EXP boosts, Aetheryte Tickets, and a new mount.
Unlike other Twitch drops though, the FFXIV drops have some unique rules, and a tier-system to make sure you’re really watching those streamers. Here’s how to get the Chocorpokkur Mount Twitch drops for FFXIV.

To get the Chocorpokkur Mount you’ll need to make sure you’re watching at least six hours of an FFXIV or Top MMORPG streamer who has drops turned on. Streamers will usually have this in their description.
- 1 Hour Watched: EXP Boost Meal Set (Buttery Mogbiscuit & Fat Choco Choco) x10
- 3 Hours Watched: Aetheryte Ticket x10
- 6 Hours Watched: Chocorpokkur Whistle (Mount) x1
It’s unclear if these hours are cumulative, but the terms do specify that “Streams played in the background or via inactive tabs won’t count towards the hours watched criteria.” These hours must be watched between July 2 and July 28, 2024.
We found that we were able to achieve all drops by having a window open, with 1% volume, and no other tabs open or active. The window was active on our screen but not visible.
These rewards are definitely worth the watch time. The EXP Boost Meal Sets give 4% EXP boost rather than the usual 3%. Which doesn’t sound like much, but when you’re leveling up a dozen alternative jobs to 100 during Dawntrail every little helps.
The Aetheryte Tickets are also a welcome addition, especially given you’ll be spending thousands of gil to teleport around the new expansion areas.
How To Redeem Your Twitch Drop Items in FF14
To redeem your items, you’ll need to head to the FFXIV Mog Station site, and log in with your Square Enix account. Then navigate to the “Registration Codes” section and enter the code. There doesn’t appear to be a way to copy and paste these codes, so its manual typing unfortunately!
The code will then be delivered via a Delivery Moogle to the character you select. These codes appear to be one per account and only available for a single character. This means you should be extra careful redeeming the codes.
