All Deadlock Characters Revealed in Valve Leak
Deadlock is an upcoming third-person hero shooter from Valve, fusing MOBA mechanics with a team shooter vibe. It has been kept under wraps for the longest time, but thanks to a series of recent leaks, there’s plenty of information in the open. Most recently, a gameplay video emerged online, showcasing almost every Deadlock character, their description, and their abilities. In this article, we’re breaking down all Deadlock characters based on that information.
All Deadlock Characters Listed in Leak
There are nineteen Deadlock characters in the game at the moment, which is undergoing an alpha testing phase at the time of publishing. These characters make up a diverse group, ranging from mystical creatures and human enemies to robots and monsters. It’s quite a line-up.
Here’s the full list of all Deadlock characters revealed in the leaked video (more will come later):
Ivy
‘Ivy has disruptive combat tricks that slow and stun enemies. She’s most effective when linking up with an ally, empowering her and her ally’s guns as well as sharing heals.’
Ivy appears to be a bat-like character with a retro sub-machine gun.
Infernus
‘Infernus has many ways to deal damage over time, burning foes before swooping in for the kill. Due to Infernus’ blazing speed, his enemies won’t be able to escape the flames.’
Infernus looks like a ghoulish character.
Haze
‘When Haze fixates on a target she can hold her own in a firefight. She prefers to create one-sided exchanges, avoiding damage then picking off unsuspecting targets up close.’
Haze is almost elven in appearance and opts for a stealthier skillset.
Grey Talon
‘A cunning predator, Gray Talon uses a combination of deadly accuracy, traps, and clever positioning to bring down the toughest of opponents.’
Grey Talon is a human character with an incredible bow.
Kelvin
‘Timely heals and splitting a team fight properly is the difference between an easy victory and a ruinous defeat. Gliding around slowing enemies gives Kelvin’s team the manoeuvring advantage to make this happen.’
Kelvin is another human character with some kind of cryo weapon.
Lady Geist
‘Expending health to achieve devastating effects is the source of Lady Geist’s power. When running low she can drain the life out of her rivals.’
Lady Geist could be a vampire-like character, but she wields both magic abilities and a revolver.
Seven
‘Seven thrives in a skirmish waiting for the time to strike. Then he rolls into the fight like a storm and batters the enemies with a cascade of lightning.’
Seven appears to be a human-robot hybrid who can harness electricity but also wields a steampunk-style rifle.
Vindicta
‘Vindicta has the mobility to engage at her leisure, picking at her prey and bleeding them out slowly. Injured enemies at any distance should fear being picked off when she is on the map.’
Vindicta is an ethereal character with a massive sniper rifle.
Warden
‘Warden leads from the front, jumping into the fray and hindering his opponents’ ability to fight effectively. But what Warden considers brave, others consider reckless, and if he’s not careful he can easily find himself in over his head.’
Warden is a prison or police officer-style character with a fearsome ballistic-based weapon and explosive attacks.
Wraith
‘Excelling at one-on-one combat, Wraith isolates targets, eliminating them with ruthless efficiency, then teleporting away before anyone can retaliate.’
Wraith boasts a classic 1920s aesthetic, right down to the Tommy Gun-style weapon she carries. She’s another human character but has some ghost-like abilities.
Yamato
‘Yamato uses precise strikes to decimate her rivals. However, such damaging attacks often will leave her exposed, so she needs to make every shot count.’
Yamato is either a shinobi or a samurai and makes use of razor-sharp melee weapons to win a fight.
We’ll be sure to reveal the other Deadlock characters as they’re revealed.
