Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO remains one of the most highly-anticipated releases of 2024. The combat game is not out yet, and fans are waiting anxiously to get their hands on a copy. Some of those fans will be able to play the game earlier than others depending on a few things. Here’s when early access begins and how players can get access to it.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Early Access begins on October 8. Players can begin playing as soon as the calendar flips to that day at 3 pm PST as long as they have the early period unlocked. There is only one way to unlock this, though. Early access is granted the same way for most titles across gaming, and that includes Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Early Access.
Players who pre-ordered the digital versions of the Deluxe, Ultimate, and Sound Ultimate Editions of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be able to play earlier. Everyone else will have to wait until the full version is released three days later.
This is only for the digital version. Those who like and still use and order physical copies won’t be able to get early access at all. The digital pre-order for the Ultimate Edition, for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, is available now for $110. The Deluxe Edition goes for $100, while the Standard is available for $70. This does not come with early access, though.
There is just over a week remaining before this game comes out, and less than that for early-access players. Be sure to pre-order a copy of one of the aforementioned versions if you want to play early. It is only available for PC (see the requirements for this platform), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. There is no last-gen version, as the developers only made versions for powerful consoles (skipping the Nintendo Switch as well, obviously).
