How to Start the Elden Ring Respec Process

To start respeccing, you need to go through the game’s storyline to reach the Roundtable Hold, which serves as a central hub. Here, you’ll encounter Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, in the Grand Library of Raya Lucaria Academy. Defeating her is essential as it unlocks the ability to respec your character.

Acquiring Necessary Items

Know that respec isn’t free, it costs Larval Tears. These rare items are your ticket to changing your character’s stats and can be found across the game world or by defeating specific enemies.

If you wonder how many times can you respec in Elden Ring, the answer is as many times as you want. But keep in mind that each respec attempt requires 1 Larval Tear.

Visiting Rennala for Respec

Once you have a Larval Tear, go back to Rennala at the Grand Library. Interact with her and select the respec option to start reallocating your stats.
