Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.05 Details – Everything Added As FFXIV Gets Its First Savage Raid

We’re chugging along through the lifespan of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, and even though the game just launched on July 2, three weeks later we’re expecting the first Savage Raid of the expansion in FFXIV patch 7.05.

FFXIV Patch 7.01 released on July 16, unveiling The Arcadion Raid Series. Now, on July 30, The Arcadion (Savage) will be released along with FFXIV patch 7.05

The Arcadion AAC Light-heavyweight Tier (Savage)

The first Savage raid of Dawntrail is set to arrive. With the praised higher difficulty of the Normal raids in the AAC Light-heavyweight Tier, we can expect some devilish challenge from this tier. Players will once again have to battle against Black Cat, Honey B. Lovely, Brute Bomber, and Wicked Thunder, this time with even higher stakes. Fans of Savage-difficulty raiding have some high expectations for this one, and we’ll have to see if the tier lives up to them.

Gear

The Arcadion (Savage) raids will likely add even more gear to drop. These will presumably be versions of the Light-Heavy Armor added in 7.01, but also new accessories. Additionally, the fourth raid Savage tier will drop weapons, and the Mount for this tier.

Treasure Hunt – Cenote Ja Ja Gural

The first Treasure Hunt dungeon is scheduled to release in Patch 7.05, as we dive into a strange Turali dungeon in search of hidden wealth. You’ll need to make sure you’ve gathered those Timeworn maps for this one, but expect some very expensive crafting materials and minions to be the main attraction for this one.

New Quests in FFXIV 7.05?

It’s unlikely we’ll get many more quests from this update, apart from some unlock quests for the (Savage) tier. MSQ updates won’t be dropping until patch 7.1, so there’s a long wait until then.

FFXIV 7.08, 7.1, and beyond?!

If you’re wondering when Alliance Raids, new MSQ, and other features are, then the short answer is “not in this patch.” Make sure you check our Dawntrail Patch Schedule to stay up to date with all the upcoming updates and events that are going to hit FFXIV over the next few months.

Your advertising Savage to release on July 23rd but on your own Dawntrail patch schedule at the bottom of the article you say July 30th which I believe is the correct date.

Saku

7.05 will be releasing on July 30. This was stated in LLP82 and Savage raids always come 2 weeks after their normal version. They were released on the 16th, so that makes 2 weeks later the 30th.

Kori

Savage is 4 weeks after expansion release. Always.

Don’t forget new crafted gear.

Ian

So much for the promised housing update on patch 7.05 huh?
