Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail added a brand new 8-man raid series known overall as The Arcadion. The ‘Normal’ difficulty of the raid series released on July 16, 2024, as part of FFXIV Patch 7.01, with the (Savage) version releasing a week later on July 23, for Patch 7.05.
But where do you need to head to unlock this new level 100 raid? Luckily, we have you covered, so you can get into the fighting arenas of Solution Nine in no time! Here’s how to unlock The Arcadion Raid Series in FFXIV.

To unlock The Arcadion, there’s a few prerequisites you’ll need to have completed. Firstly, you’ll need to be level 100, and have completed the final quest of the Dawntrail Main Scenario Quests (MSQ).
You’ll also need to make sure you have an average Item Level of 685, which will likely mean you’ll have to have some, or all, of the Item Level 700 gear, purchasable for Allagan Tomestones of Aesthetics.

Then, head to Solution Nine and speak to the Stylish Stranger (X:19.1, Y:18.8). This guy’s name is Metem, and he wants you to fight in gladiatorial combat. Which for the WoL is a perfect calling. Completing the first quest he gives you, ‘A New Challenger Appears,’ will unlock the second quest, which will be the first of the raids.

After completing the basic Arcadia Championship fights, you’ll need to speak to Gabbro in Solution Nine (22.3, 17.1). Remember, the Savage fights are only unlocked after completing all the normal difficulty raids, so don’t worry if Gabbro hasn’t appeared yet, you’ll just need to finish the fights. The Savage tier of The Arcadion first released in Patch 7.05 on July 30.

After clearing any of the Ascension Arcadia Championship Light-heavyweight division of The Arcadion in FFXIV, you can earn Treasure Coffers for Light-heavy Holoarmor. These can be obtained by trading the coffers to Hhihwi in Solution Nine (X:8.7 Y:13.4).
Additionally, after completing AAC Light-heavyweight M4, players can also earn a Light-heavy Holoblade once per week. Light-heavy Holoblades can be exchanged with Hhihwi in Solution Nine (X:8.7 Y:13.4) for universal tomestones, which can in turn be exchanged for weapons.
