Everything We Know About Gambit and Rogue in Marvel Rivals So Far

Gambit: The Kinetic Duelist

It seems Gambit, or Remy LeBeau, will be introduced as a Duelist class. His main gimmick? Charging up those playing cards with kinetic energy, then throwing them at enemies for big explosions. Leaked names of moves include “Kinetic Energy Card” and “Energy Accumulation,” and it sounds like you might have to manage a resource meter to make his attacks strongest.

Some other abilities, maybe called “Node Card Array-Projection” and “Node Card Array-Recycling,” suggest he can control areas of the battlefield somehow. It’s interesting because if those leaks are correct, you’ll have to decide whether to deal damage straight away or set up traps around you. Gambit’s agility may also make him a slippery opponent in skirmishes.

Rogue: The Adaptive Strategist

Then there’s Rogue, aka Anna Marie, who supposedly comes in as a Strategist. Her mutant power to absorb others’ abilities could translate into a really versatile kit. Leaks mention things like “Ability to Draw” and “Ability Acquisition,” which might let her copy skills from both allies and foes. It’s a different vibe than Gambit’s explosive offense-Rogue could fill whatever role the team needs at the moment.

But, on the other hand, that kind of flexibility might be hard to balance. If she really can pick up random skills mid-match, matches could get chaotic real fast. Still, it’s neat to think about a hero who adapts in real time instead of just following a fixed playstyle. While we are still unsure of her role as a healer, here are some of the best healers in Marvel Rivals you can always count on.

Release Date of Gambit and Rogue in Marvel Rivals

Nobody knows exactly when they’ll arrive, the official word is still missing. Rumors point to Season 3, maybe around mid-2025, following the pattern of new heroes every one month or so. It’s possible we see them drop in around June or July, but that’s pure speculation until the developers confirm anything.
