Gray Zone Warfare Hosting Week-Long Creator Campaign
Gray Zone Warfare is one of the most hotly anticipated open-world shooters right now. It has been painstakingly developed by MADFINGER, and when it’s released, it’ll present gamers with the opportunity to explore a vast world based on a real Southeast Asian location. It’s part extraction shooter, part tactical FPS, and it boasts a ‘PvEvP’ style of gameplay. There are high expectations for this title, and in just a few days, prospective fans will be able to get the best look at the game possible.
MADFINGER will be running a week-long promotional event using content creators to push out an immersive campaign. It’ll see some of the biggest streamers in the world take to Gray Zone Warfare from April 18 onwards, exploring everything that the game has to offer. From ultra-realistic physics and weapon handling to intense healing mechanics and intelligent AI-driven enemies, Gray Zone Warfare has it all.
One For The Tarkov Fans

As you might expect, Escape from Tarkov’s fanbase has been keeping a close eye on Gray Zone Warfare. It’s not strictly an extraction shooter, but it does boast similar elements to that genre and it looks and handles a little like Battlestate Games’ leading extraction title. One could argue that Gray Zone Warfare is a little more advanced and more realistic than Escape from Tarkov, but it’s not a comparison game – MADFINGER has tried to stand GZW apart from Tarkov in as many ways as possible.
That begins mostly with the map – while Tarkov is set in a bleak, urban environment, GZW is set in the fictional world of Lamang Island. It’s an imagined Southeast Asian location based mostly on Vietnam and Laos, and it features dense forests, open plains, villages, and built-up residential regions. From there, the comparisons unravel, with GZW featuring more realistic medical, bullet, and weapon handling mechanics than Escape from Tarkov – at first blush, anyway.

Gray Zone Warfare Is Already Dominating Charts
GZW is one of the most-wanted games on Steam – and it’s gathering pace with each passing day. There are millions of people excited to get stuck into the game, but at present, there’s no release date for Gray Zone Warfare. It’s only a matter of time, though. MADFINGER is confident enough about its product to push out this extended playtest that’s being promoted by some of the biggest creators in the world.
This is one to watch for sure – if you’re interested in shooters, tactical FPS titles, extraction shooters, or open-world adventure games, GZW can’t be slept on. It can be played solo or with a squad, it features base customization mechanics, dynamic traversal features, and so much more.
