It’s no secret that Peni Parker is a fan favorite character from the Marvel comics who has also made her way to the Marvel Rivals as a hero.
However, you’ll be shocked to know that Peni Parker isn’t your typical Spider-Man. She comes from an alternate universe (Earth-14512) where she pilots a sentient mech suit rather than swinging through the city on webbing. Since Peni Parker is a prominent character in the Marvel Rivals playerbase, many fans are naturally curious about which version of Peni Parker has been included and whether her age remains the same as in her past appearances. Simply put, there’s no mention of Peni Parker’s age anywhere in the Marvel Rivals game. We looked on the official website, went through the official Wiki page and even checked out a few YouTube videos. In the end, we concluded that NetEase Games didn’t include her official age in the game’s official lore. Her official in-game description says that “Peni Parker may be young, but she bravely stands on the frontlines to protect the Web of Life and Destiny. Together, this teen prodigy and her state-of-the-art mech, the sensational SP//dr, make for the most thrilling duo on the battlefield!”
So that’s all? Well, no, actually.
Although Peni Parker’s age isn’t given in the game, we’ll still try to answer your burning question by presenting all the facts from the official database of the Marvel comics. If we go back in time, the history of Peni Parker states that she debuted in Marvel comics as a 9-year-old character. When Peni Parker was nine, her father died piloting the SP//dr suit. However, it doesn’t mean that Peni Parker’s age is still 9.
In the database, we found that her main story takes place five years later when Peni turns 14. Since then, Peni Parker is 14 years old in most of her appearances. In fact, Peni Parker’s character model in Marvel Rivals looks like that of a 14-year-old.
As you might think, the internet is already filled with a lot of theories surrounding this question. A user on Reddit suggests that since Peni was 14 in 2014, Peni in Marvel Rivals would be around 23 years old in 2025. While it may sound convincing quite at first, it’s worth noting that Peni lives in a different timeline where the time doesn’t work like on Earth.
Penny Parker is the best defense tank in Marvel Rivals if you’re on the defense side of any mission. Penny’s gameplay relies heavily on her Shift ability, which puts down a spider nest. The nest will create a big web area around her, which will build up her passive shield. It’ll also begin to put out little spider bots that will hone in on any player that enters into your webbed area chasing them down and detonating for some decent damage.

Your nest has some HP and you’re going to want to defend it when it goes down, making sure it can last as long as it can and deal out the damage.
Enemy divers are going to want to try and find this thing and take it out because, as long as it’s down, they’re not really able to perform their dive onto any of your teammates that are within the web area. The amount of damage they’ll take from your mines is just too high. This is actually an amazing Jeff counter.
If your entire team is within your Arano mine web and Jeff tries to eat your team up, he’ll be detonated by all of the spider mines and taken out rather quickly.
At the start of the match, you’re going to want to find the area that your team wants to defend. Identify the choke point that the enemy team is likely to be coming through and find a slightly out-of-reach area nearby that choke point that you can put down your mine web.
Constantly be putting out your spider mines in your webbing or out towards the enemy team depending on range. If your enemies are charging in at you, you’re going to want to be shooting these mines out at them or placing them down in the webs in front of you.
This is going to make sure that when the enemies do come in or when their divers slam down on your allies, there’s a lot of secret damage coming for them. Constantly shoot your stun webs out at the enemy DPS or healers. Sometimes the tanks will be in a vulnerable position, like when their shields break or when they’re trying to dive out as they’ve gotten low health and hitting them with a quick webbing can allow you to take them down.
