To find the Putrescent Knight, you need to head east once you’re inside the Stone Coffin Fissure. It’s not a particularly tough path to navigate, and once you reach the Site of Grace at Fissure Depths, you’ll have the opportunity to jump down an enormous chasm. Do so, and you’ll meet the Putrescent Knight. It’s well hidden away, but is necessary in order to complete Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Putrescent Knight can detach into two parts, which will attack you at the same time. This means that it can be difficult to dodge its attacks. However, if you use Mimic Tear Ashes, you’ll be able to draw attention away from yourself during this fight. This will continue to deal damage too, so it’s not all about reducing your own.

If there’s one attack you need to be aware of more than others, it’s Fire Barrage. This hurls multiple blue flames your way, and you’re in deep trouble if it hits you, even if you’re at the perfect level for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

When it comes to dealing damage to the Putrescent Knight, try and focus on filling its Bleed meter. Bleed damage seems to be the quickest way to beat Putrescent Knight in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and combined with Mimic Tear Ashes, it can prove to be a deadly combo.
