Once Human: How to Emote
While it’s a survival game at its core, Once Human is also a social experience. With gamers jumping on in large numbers to try out the new survival game, it’s important that players are able to communicate with one another in-game. That’s where emotes in Once Human come in. As with many other games, Once Human features a ton of fun emotes for players to use in-game, and we’re going to show you exactly how to do so.
How to Emote in Once Human
To use emotes in Once Human, you first need to head to the Cosmetics menu from your inventory. From there, change from the “Fashion” tab to “Expression“. You’ll be met with the menu seen above, with an empty wheel for you to select your emotes. Then, you need to drag the emotes you want to their respective places on the wheel and head in-game.
When in-game, simply hold the “X” key to bring up the emote wheel, and drag your mouse to the Once Human emote you’d like to use. Then, release the key to see the emote play out.
It’s extremely simple to emote in Once Human, but the game never explicitly tells you how to do it. It can be frustrating to figure out, but at least now you know exactly how it’s done.
