How to get and use Scadutree Fragments in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
There’s no doubt that FromSoftware has made Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree a little harder than the base game. To balance this out, the developer has added a new feature called Scadutree Fragments.
The idea is that you collect Scadutree Fragments throughout your adventure, and you can then use them to receive the Scadutree Blessing. This increases the damage you deal, and reduces the damage you take – simple. Now, the burning question – how do you get and use Scadutree Fragments in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree? Let’s find out.
Where to find Scadutree Fragments in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
There are numerous different ways that you can find Scadutree Fragments in Shadow of the Erdtree. See below for all known ways so far:
- Bosses: Several of the new Shadow of the Erdtree bosses will drop Scadutree Fragments as a reward for beating them. These include the Golden Hippopotamus, and all four regular Hippopotamus boss fights.
- Miquella’s Crosses: There are a total of 13 Miquella’s Crosses to find in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, each of which can be looted to find a Scadutree Fragment.
- Pot-carrying Shadow Undead: While fighting Shadow Undead, there’s a chance you’ll see some of them carrying a pot on their head. They’re hard to miss – kill them, and there’s a chance they’ll drop a Scadutree Fragment.
- Marika Statues: Throughout your adventure, you’re going to find a bunch of statues of Marika that have been beheaded. Search them for a free and easy Scadutree Fragment.
