Healing in Arena Breakout: Infinite Made Easy

There are plenty of healing items in Arena Breakout: Infinite to understand

Various debuffs can be applied to a player in Arena Breakout: Infinite depending on the circumstances they’re subjected to. For instance, if you get shot, you can suffer anything from a wound to a broken bone – with some pain thrown in for good measure. If you go long enough without eating or drinking, you’ll suffer immeasurably as your stamina crashes through the floor and you lose the ability to move properly.

There are plenty of things to worry about, but that’s why we’re here to teach you how to heal in Arena Breakout: Infinite. Here’s the full breakdown of debuffs and how you can defeat them. Injury

Injuries occur when something hurts you – it’s that simple. They’re the most common ailments you’ll get, but they can be countered easily. To heal an injury, you need to use a medical or first aid kit of some kind. These are easily identifiable as they’ll have a number that represents their ‘use points’ next to their item art in-game. Once you’ve exhausted all the use points, the medical kit will simply disappear.

Tip: Prioritise body parts like your head, chest, and stomach when it comes to using medical kits.

Wound

Wounds will cause you to lose HP over time, and the severity of that wound depends on how quickly you lose HP. They’re typically picked up when you’re getting shot at, with a bullet causing enough damage to start a substantial bleed. To patch a wound, you’ll need to use a bandage, and fortunately, they’re all over the place.

Tip: Make sure you’re behind cover before you start applying a bandage, as it can take a while.

Break

If you’ve broken a bone, you’ll stop recovering HP and will be limited in terms of movement and functionality, depending on where the break is. Unfortunately, the only way to fix a break is to use a surgical kit of some kind. It’s a more complex procedure that can take some time to resolve, so you’ll need to be out of combat before you start using one.

Tip: Use painkillers and run away from a fight if you have a break you can’t fix immediately.

Pain

If you’re in pain, your vision will blur, which will make it hard to continue fighting. To counter this, you’ll want to pop one of the game’s many painkillers, which will temporarily alleviate the debuff. Every type of painkiller has a different duration, so pay close attention to that.

Tip: Painkillers will rapidly reduce your hydration – make sure to have water on hand if you’re using them a lot.

Dehydration

Dehydration will occur if you don’t drink for a long time. It’s a fairly debilitating affliction as it’ll reduce your stamina levels dramatically, making it hard to move. It’ll also cause your HP to slowly decline. It can only be fixed by finding and consuming water or another beverage.

Hunger

Hunger will hit you hard if you’re not eating, causing an HP decline and a substantial slowdown that will restrict your movement. It can be a game-ending affliction, so be sure to find food and eat regularly enough to keep that level topped up. If you suffer wounds to your stomach, your hunger level will drop much faster.

Lung Injury

Lung injuries are caused by gas attacks in Arena Breakout: Infinite, and there’s only one way to fix them – with a ‘Nebuliser’. These rare items are almost impossible to come by in-raid, and you’ll need to buy them if you think you’re going to need them. With your lungs damaged, you’ll bleed HP and be slowed to a crawl as you fight your injury.

Tip: To avoid lung damage entirely, you can use a gas mask.

Critical Overload

If you’re trying to carry too much, you’ll suffer from a ‘critical overload’. This is a global slowdown debuff that will restrict your movement, blocking the sprint and jump functions. It’ll make you a seriously easy target to hit, and it’ll cause your stamina to pour away at a rapid rate. It can be combated by using a ‘Strength Stim’, but it won’t last long.

Tip: Prioritise what you’re looting from a raid and try to focus on high-value items, quest items, and things you need.

Tinnitus and Sound Blocking

Tinnitus and Sound Blocking are two medical-based debuffs that can impact a player in Arena Breakout: Infinite, but there’s very little that can be done about them. Tinnitus occurs if you’re too close to an explosion and it’ll fade over time, but Sound Blocking occurs when you’re wearing a helmet or a hat that covers your ears. This will limit your hearing, and the only way to get around it is to remove that helmet or wear a headset.

That’s everything we can teach you about how to heal in Arena Breakout: Infinite. Now, go forth and win those raids with confidence!

I’ll make a comment. Every single comment, YouTube video, forum comment or other source tells you how to heal or treat yourself. Well where in the hell is any spec of information about how to immediately render first aid to a member of your squad?????? Who cares about healing yourself while your teammate is laying there dying and telling you to help them. There’s not a single intuitive feature that allows you to access and immediately apply life-saving medical aid to rescue your team members if they get seriously wounded.

I’d rather just shoot myself than to watch one my team members slowly die because I haven’t any intuitive access to my medical supplies to render life-saving medical help. Whoever designed arena breakout needs to put a button with a medic cross in plain view and access so when one of your team is down and dying you can just push the button and stay with them while they heal. If I do access my own kit it does nothing more than heal my own wounds. Just what I need when a team member is dying is to treat my own wounds. Again, I found absolutely nothing whatsoever to tell me how to use my own medical supplies to heal a team member. C’mon, for players that are new to the arena, give some clues to the absolute most critical factor of the game in my opinion and that is the ability to heal a team member who is down and dying. Make it accessible and make it fast. The game also needs a feature to put this soldier over your shoulder and make for safe ground and extraction.
