Though it’s a relatively simple process, there are a few things you should keep in mind before you head into the game.
First of all, you can only skip cutscenes for new Missions and the old Heist Missions. As a result, you won’t be able to skip the cinematics for the majority of the missions such as Payphone, contracts, Night Clubs, etc. Although players manage to discover glitches to skip all cutscenes, they are patched with new updates. So remember, you can’t skip all cutscenes, especially the first time you’re seeing them.
As discussed earlier, the Drug Wars, one of the game’s initial missions, includes a long story cutscene. Before the February 2023 update, players were forced to watch this scene repeatedly if they failed the mission, which was quite irritating. Thankfully, the update allowed players to skip it. However, as mentioned, you still have to watch it the first time and can skip it on subsequent tries to go directly to the objective.
