There’s no requirement to team up with other players, even if it’s a solid suggestion to play with other people who could offer an extra gun or a spare pair of eyes.

There are some mechanics woven into Gray Zone Warfare that lend themselves very nicely to it being a multiplayer-focused game. For instance, if you’re downed by an enemy, you enter a state from which you can be revived by another player.
