Wuthering Waves is a new gacha game by Kuro Games. The game was released on May 21, 2024, and the platforms on which the game will be released are Android, iOS, and Windows. Kuro Games has revealed that the game will also be available for PlayStation 4 and 5. The game is in direct competition with HoYoverse’s Geshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. But is Wuthering Waves on PS5 like its competition?

Yes, the game was teased at the Unreal Fest convention in Shanghai last year. The developers confirmed that the game will be available for PlayStation, as well. For now, you can enjoy the game on Windows and not on PS5. For the unversed, the game is an open-world game where they play as the Rover. They can also recruit 16 Resonators to their party.
Lennon Li, the Overseas Marketing Specialist for Kuro Games confirmed the game’s arrival to TheLoadout in an interview and said this:
“We do have a plan [to release] on console, but we’re still working on it.”
It has been a week since the game came out, but the developers have yet to confirm a release date for PlayStation 5 or its predecessor. However, the game will get a PlayStation 5 release date at some point in time, as confirmed by the developers.
For now, even the official website also says that the game is only available on the App Store, Google Play Store, Windows and Epic Store. It’s already become a hit title, as it’s on the top of the App Store in more than 100 regions.
For now, Kuro Games is addressing the concerns of the players who were trying to download the game when it was released. They released a patch for Android devices for players who had trouble in opening the game. With the issue resolved, players are exploring the open world and trying to understand the nuances of the game.

Worst launch i ever see on a game, launch on phone not ps5 first, usseles on phone work like sheat graphic garbage, lag alot on phone 0 optimised. Until they launch on PS5 game might be pretty dead all ready so PS5 might be a small window backup to get some new players in it nothing less.
Get new phone. Even 3yr old phone have no problem running this game. And don’t be surprised if I tell you that even 10yr old Mac can run this game – 1st 3 days it can’t but with the optimization they rolling out it works and it’s a good sign as some devs do tweaking after a month or so.
