The Kirby Games were developed by HAL Laboratory and is owned by Nintendo. It made its debut in the 1990s with the intention of being one of the easier games out there.

Undoubtedly, this adorable video game has won the hearts of users of all ages. It’s simple, charming and has a cute protagonist. Since its inception, it has positioned itself among the favorite games and, as a result, more gaming titles were created to make up the saga; all of which have their characteristics and charms.

This saga is made up of 42 games that are available for different platforms, such as Switch, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, NDS, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 64. In other words, the Little World Eater has been around a lot of consoles.

But, which Kirby game is the best? We have created a list ranked and ordered from best to worst rated:

1. Kirby & the Amazing Mirror (2004)

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is at the top of the series’ ranking, receiving a score of 9.3. This version is part of the 2D platformer category and is also known as Kirby & the Amazing Mirror.

Here, Kirby must embark on a journey through an interconnected world in a mysterious mirror maze. It offers the player a more open structure compared to other games in the series.

2. Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (2003)

Second place with 9 points went to Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. The plot unfolds when King Dedede – Kirby’s enemy – steals the Star Rod that allows the inhabitants of Dream Land to sleep soundly.

So Kirby sets out to retrieve the Star Rod, obtaining each of its 24 abilities and absorbing them from his enemies.

3. Kirby’s Epic Yarn Wii (2015)

With a score of 8.9, Kirby’s Epic Yarn Wii comes in third place. Overall, Kirby returns to Wii with a completely new design, where he must enter a world of cloth. Therefore, the player must traverse the world of Patch Land to overcome the platforming levels.

4. Kirby Mass Attack (2011)

Like the title in position three, this fourth place is occupied by Kirby Mass Attack, which is a puzzle platform. Released for the Nintendo DS, this title deviates from the series’ traditional titles by focusing on controlling different versions of the protagonist.

5. Kirby and the Forgotten Land (2022)

Kirby and the Forgotten Land comes with a score of 8.7 and is part of the 3D platform adventure category. Players will embark on a journey through a desolate post-apocalyptic landscape in an odyssey full of platforming, puzzles and action.

6. Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe (2023)

Sixth place belongs to one of the latest Kirby games, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe with a score of 8.2. This is an improved and updated version of Kirby’s Return to Dream Land (2011).

It is undoubtedly a memorable and triumphant return to the series because it has solid gameplay, quality and vibrant graphics, and includes three friends on a mission to help Maglor recover the pieces of his astro-sailboat.
