Koira Heading to PS5 Alongside PC: Release Date Revealed

If you’re looking for a great adventure game that you can play with your friends and family, then look no further, as Koira is on the horizon! This is a chill and laid back game that you can spend countless hours playing. It involves you and your new companion traveling through a musical forest, looking for clues, solving puzzles, befriending other creatures of the forest, and much more. When is the Koira release date?

Koira’s release date is on the horizon, meaning you just have to wait a little longer before you can get your hands on this cute little game. Unfortunately, Koira is not available through early access features, all players will get the game at the same time on the global launch: April 1, 2025.

Publishers described the story of the game as:

“Koira is a wholesome tale of friendship where you and your new puppy traverse a musical forest, solve ancient puzzles, befriend woodland creatures, and try to find your way home. Avoid danger along the way, as hunters lurk in the shadows…”

What consoles can I play Koira on?

Koira will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam at launch. At the time of writing, the game has not been announced for other platforms such as Xbox or Nintendo Switch. As for the PC players, the game does offer controller support as well as family sharing, meaning one of your friends could also get their hands on this fun single-player game.

What to expect from Koira?

The creative director for Koira, Ben Lager, did an interview with Comics Gaming Magazine, where he went into more detail about the compelling heartfelt story that will definitely pull on the heartstrings of many players:

“To describe Koira in a few words: it’s a 2D narrative adventure game where the player wakes up in a snowy forest and befriends a little puppy. Together, the two set out to find shelter, but along the way, they are chased by hunters who are trying to snatch the dog.”

I mean, it has adorable pets, and who doesn’t like a cute little puppy? Well, don’t worry, in Koira, you have to save one!
