Marvel Rivals recently launched its first season, which consisted of new skins and heroes. Now, two new heroes, namely The Thing and Human Touch, will be released in Marvel Rivals soon. If you are curious when they are available to play, you are at the right place.

Marvel Rivals is becoming quite popular among gamers due to their familiarity with characters from the Marvel comics. The game recently became the highest number of daily active players. Since its launch, the game has released over 30+ heroes from the various superhero groups within the comics.

The game is garnering popularity due to its simple-to-understand gameplay and unique mechanics, like the second most valuable player. A title in the game, given to appreciate the best player from the losing team.

Following the launch of the first season of Marvel Rivals, Mister Fantastic, the founder and leader of the Fantastic Four in the comics, was released in the game. There were reports that the other team members, The Thing, and Human Touch, would be added to the game. It is rumored that these two heroes will be released between Feb. 22 and Feb. 28.

For those who don’t know, The Thing is one of the strongest heroes in Marvel comics. His abilities turn him into a giant with a rocky form. Some of his abilities include super strength, underwater breathing, and Invulnerability. On the other hand, Human Touch is one of the most popular heroes in Marvel. Chris Evans acted as this character in the first Fantastic Four movie before he played Captain America. Interestingly, this was mentioned in the recent Deadpool and Wolverine movie.

The Thing & Human Torch Abilities

According to leaks, the Human Torch’s abilities are similar to their skills within the comics. Human Torch will have one basic attack and five different abilities. His team-up ability in the game will be known as Omega Fire, with Storm from the X men. Currently, there is no information on the abilities of The Thing within Marvel Rivals.

With heroes like Cyclops and Dr. Xavier rumored to be arriving in Marvel Rivals this year, it will be interesting to see if the game adds more game modes to ensure each hero has a spotlight.
