It’s hard to miss. Simply request and go from there, though there is no guarantee that everyone who requests entry will get it. This is how you try, though.
REMATCH is already so popular for many different reasons. For one, sports games are usually carbon copies of one another year after year. They’re widely considered some of the most frustrating and disappointing video games. They generally lack creativity, but this new one does not. It helps that it’s not based on a league like Madden or NBA 2K.
It’s creative and looks fun. There doesn’t seem to be any place for a microtransaction, either, which is a major downfall of current sports video games. This game has a one-time purchase fee, and you have it from then on without needing to pay to unlock things or get better items. It’s what video games should be, and it happens to be entering a space that is devoid of that.
It also looks beautiful. Sports games often fall into the hyperrealism trap, whereas most modern gamers prefer an art style to a realistic-looking person. This game eschews trying to look like a soccer player and instead designs characters with excellent backdrops and graphics. It looks like a video game, not like a video of a sport.
