Spectre Divide Will Launch Next Week

Spectre Divide, the unique tactical shooter that puts you in control of not one body, but two, is launching on September 3.

The Spectre Divide launch was announced via trailer and blog post on Aug. 27, bringing the most interesting spin on the Tactical shooter to all players sooner rather than later.

Earlier this month, right at the start of the games’ Closed Beta, we talked to Spectre Divide’s director, Lee Horn, who gave us some incredible insights into just how the game’s unique Duality mechanic works, and the game’s inspiration. A challenging take on the usual tactical shooter, Spectre Divide gives you the chance to place your Spectre, cover your own angles, and otherwise create unique tactical advantages for your three-man team.

It’s this unique small team format, with an additional tactical nuance that’s made the game such a popular prospect. With VALORANT not to everyone’s taste, and ADS enjoyers hungry for something that’s not CoD or Apex, Spectre Divide is giving players a stylish alternative.

In the announcement post, Horn further explained his excitement for the game:

“This game is a love letter to tac shooter enthusiasts and we hope you feel all the special touches of care and attention. Launch is just the beginning! Our promise is to keep the game fresh and challenging for all levels of competition.”

What time does Spectre Divide Launch?

Spectre Divide hits Steam on Tuesday, September 3, worldwide at 9am PST. If you want to pick it up for yourself head to the official site or Steam Page, wishlist the title, and get ready to dive in as soon as the game launches.
