Tales of the Shire release date is on July 29, 2025, and will be available on multiple platforms upon its release, from Nintendo devices such as the Switch, to game consoles like the PlayStation 5, to even the PC, whatever platform you have, you’ll be able to play this game. Unfortunately, players will not be able to play the game if they are currently using an older generation console such as the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One, which leaves them wondering if Tales of the Shire will ever be on Game Pass.

Nowadays, developers are simply not making their games available for the older generation consoles, it simply isn’t worth the trouble of putting in the resources and staff to make a game that is capable of running on both consoles. As of now, there’s no any info of Tales of the Shire being on the Game Pass. Private Division hasn’t announced any plans for the game to launch on Xbox’s subscription service, meaning players will likely need to cough up the full price if they want to dive in on day one.
