Are We Anywhere Close to The Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date?
If it feels like we’ve been waiting forever for The Elder Scrolls 6 release date, it’s because we basically have. Bethesda first teased the game way back in 2018 with a short, vague teaser trailer that showed us… well, not much. Since then, it’s been a whole lot of silence, and we got updates that aren’t really updates.
So, when is the game coming out? Well, as of right now, Bethesda hasn’t locked in a The Elder Scrolls 6 release date yet. However, there are a few clues floating around that give us a rough idea of the timeline.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date
During the FTC suing Microsoft fiesta, it was revealed that The Elder Scrolls VI is not expected to launch until at least 2026. It was later confirmed that the game was still in “early development” at that time. Fast forward to now, and while development has surely progressed, there’s still no sign of a release window-meaning a 2026 or even 2027 release seems likely.
Given that Starfield was the big focus for Bethesda in 2023, it’s safe to say Elder Scrolls 6 won’t have an exact release date anytime soon. So, if you’re planning your RPG schedule, you might want to get comfy with some other fantasy titles while you wait.

Just a small correction, but Skyrim is NOT an MMORPG. It’s not even multiplayer.
