What is Ultron’s Release Date in Marvel Rivals

Ultron should emerge in the game on May 30, 2025, right around the mid-season update for Season 2. It’s roughly six weeks into the season (which is about 12 weeks total), so mark your calendars. Doesn’t mean it couldn’t slide a bit, but that’s the plan for now.

Ultron’s Abilities

Ultron’s kit is all about seizing control of the fight and backing up your team, which makes him a total powerhouse Strategist. Here’s what he’s packing:

Movement – Dynamic Flight
Activate to rocket forward in your current movement direction and seamlessly transition into free-flight mode. This ability grants exceptional aerial mobility, enabling Ultron to reposition swiftly or escape dangerous engagements.
Primary Fire – Encephalo-Ray
A constant energy beam that burns enemies over time. Cuts through shields better than most guns. A new menace for tanks indeed.
Ability 1 – Imperative: Patch
You pick an ally, send a big healing drone after them, and it heals anyone nearby—plus a little extra love for the marked teammate. Handy if your carry’s about to go down.
Ability 2 – Imperative: Firewall
Drop drones around you and that same ally. Everyone inside gets bonus Health, making them tougher to kill. Shields up, basically.
Ultimate – Rage of Ultron
Ultron summons a squad of Drones that blast Encephalo-Rays. They zap foes or heal allies in range—it’s like choosing between scorch and soothe.
Passive – Algorithm Correction
Hold the jump key to dramatically slow your descent, granting extended hang time and allowing precise aerial positioning for turret setups or drone deployments.

Team-Up Synergies

Ultron excels at locking down areas and keeping his allies alive, no doubt. But his true potentials really shine when he pairs up with the right teammates. Rumor has it if you team him up with Iron Man, it’ll boost your drones’ damage—pretty fitting given their big, tangled history in Marvel lore.
