As an open-world RPG title, Wuthering Waves is filled to the brim with a variety of valuable currencies, one of which is known as Crystal Solvent. In case you don’t know, Crystal Solvent farming is essential to progress in the game as it allows you to claim rewards after completing Simulation Training and Forgery Challenges. However, earning this valuable resource isn’t an easy task, especially if you’re just getting started. Therefore, we’ll provide you with a quick rundown of easy methods to help you get Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves.

How to earn Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves

While there are multiple ways to get Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves, we suggest following these methods for effective farming:

Raise Union level
Progress through the battle pass
Level Up the Data Bank
Complete Milestones

Raise Union level

Union Levels are the core mechanic of the Wuthering Waves as it determines your progress so far in the game. At each Union Level, you’ll be rewarded with certain rewards including Crystal Solvent. To be more specific, you will get 2x and 4x Crystal Solvents at levels 25 and 35, respectively. Completing quests, defeating bosses, finishing daily activities, and achieving milestones are some of the primary ways to increase your Union Level in the game.

Level Up the Data Bank

Apart from the Union Levels, raising your Data Bank can also get you 2 Crystal Solvents each at levels 1, 5, 8, and 15. You can increase this level by collecting new echoes, finishing Guidebook Milestones, using Echo Gallery and more.

Progress through the battle pass

Wuthering Waves battle pass has two variants – Public and Insider channel. The public channel is essentially the free track, which rewards you with a total of 12 Crystal Solvents upon 100% completion.

Complete Milestones

Finally, completing Milestones is one of the most effective methods to earn Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves. You can get 2 at level 3 and another 2 at level 4, meaning you can earn up to 4x Crystal Solvents via this method.

How to use Crystal Solvent in Wuthering Waves

To use Crystal Solvents, head to the terminal menu and open your backpack in Wuthering Waves. Next, navigate to the Valuables Tab to find the number of Crystal Solvents you’ve earned so far.

Finally, click on it to convert each Crystal Solvent into a total of 60x Waveplates. You can eventually use these plates to participate in Simulation Training and Forgery challenges and earn rewards.
