One such Wuthering Waves quest is known as the secret investigation, which requires you to investigate a camp as an undercover agent. Wuthering Waves has just been released but is already topping charts worldwide. As such, a lot of players are finding it tough to complete some of the quests. In this guide, we will explain how to complete the secret investigation quest in Wuthering Waves with ease.

The secret investigation quest can be found between Jinzhou City and Port City of Guixu, particularly in the southern area of the Wuthering Waves map. To kick off, find the Qianshian NPC located at the below-marked location.

After speaking with him, the NPC will ask you to invade a nearby camp as an undercover agent and retrieve some evidence from the site. At this point, the game will mark two different locations on the map. Simply go to the marked location and defeat the enemies to collect their garments and disguise yourself.

After completing this bit, head back to the Qianshian NPC and he will ask you to answer a few questions:

Now it’s time to infiltrate the exile camp which is the primary objective of the secret investigation quest. But before that, you must set the in-game time to 21:00 by heading to the pause menu. Once you meet this requirement, the game will automatically teleport you to the Exile camp as an undercover agent.

In the first section, you’ll encounter a few dogs that can easily expose your identity. So, make sure to maintain a safe distance from them. As you get past the dogs, speak with the first guard and he won’t allow you to let in, no matter what dialogue option you choose. At this point, simply head to the other side of the camp, where you’ll run into an elevator. All you need to do is take the elevator and navigate to the upper floor where you’ll find another NPC called Kuixiao.

When you speak with the NPC, he will ask if you would like a hot meal to determine if you are the real Qiao Yang. If you respond with “Both of us are not fans of hot food,” he will leave the area, allowing you to take the piece of evidence. After that, you have to follow a few more waypoints and have a conversation with more NPCs.
You can select any dialogue choices you want until you reach your final destination i.e. Exile Leader’s tent. As you enter the tent, the nearby Exiles and dogs will sense your presence and will regroup to confront you. Once you defeat all the enemies, head back to the Qianshian NPC and explain what happened at the Exile camp.
