Everything Announced at the Xbox Games Showcase
The Xbox Games Showcase on June 9 unveiled dozens of new games as well as giving us additional details on some existing titles. With over 20 new titles revealed, it was genuinely a festival for fans of gaming and Microsoft’s console.
But with all those titles, it was definitely a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ kind of situation, where if you looked away for a second you’d miss the next big reveal. Luckily we’ve put together a list of all the games revealed at Xbox Games Showcase so you can keep track of what to get excited for.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Campaign Reveal

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 had its campaign revealed as part of the Xbox Games Showcase. A spy thriller with a 90’s feel, the campaign is already evoking some pretty heavy nostalgia in dedicated BLOPS fans. The release date is listed as Oct. 25, and check out our article for more details.
Doom: The Dark Ages

We got our first look at the latest gore-drenched entry into the Doom series at the Xbox Games Showcase with Doom: The Dark Ages. The Doom Slayer returns to a medieval world to reap justice on hoards of demons.
State of Decay 3
A new open world zombie survival game will challenge players to brave harsh conditions and even harsher adversaries in the third instalment in this popular zombie slay-em-up. Not our cup of tea, but definitely looks nice.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Despite bizarrely choosing to introduce the new companions like they were characters from a hero shooter, and matching that same aesthetic throughout the trailer, Dragon Age: The Veilguard looks like a tendinous new entry into the storied RPG series. It’s scheduled for release in fall 2024,
Starfield: Shattered Space
Starfield: Shattered Space is a Starfield expansion with new locations, gear, bounties, and customizable content. Whether this will fix the fundamental issues with the game, or even the bugs, remains to be seen.
Fallout 76 Skyline Valley
Bethesda is finally realising what a hit they have with Fallout’s new TV show and is updating at least one of their titles. Skyline Valley appears to entirely evoke the atmosphere of the TV show in what must be a coincidence rather than carefully planned execution.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
In one of the most surprising reveals of the night, Expedition 33 shocked many with its modern graphical turn-based RPG vibes that transported us to an fantastical and tragic world. The earnest cheesiness of this one really drew me in, it feels like a Final Fantasy game just from the trailer. No release date, but very exciting.
South of Midnight
World of Warcraft: The War Within Trailer
World of Warcraft’s ambitious new expansions got an expanded trailer to show off this dramatic turning point in the game’s story.
Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater Trailer
The Snake Eater remake got a brand new trailer. One of the best games ever released on the PS2 (and that’s a hard crown to hold) hopefully this reimagining will live up to its inspiration.
