WoW Healer Tier List – Best Healers For Raiding And M+
Unlike DPS, which is available to most classes and is enjoyed by most of the player base in World of Warcraft, there are not that many healers out there. While they are less scarce than tanks, playing a healer will easily get you into most raiding and Mythic+ groups.
However, if multiple healers are contesting to join, it is worth checking out the current WoW Healer Tier list to find which specs will give you a better chance of joining one or who to invite if you are not the one healing.

WoW Healer Tier List For Raiding
There have been quite a few hotfixes when it comes to the 10.1.5 patch, and it is more or less stabilized enough for us to make a WoW Healer tier list that will help players figure out which WoW classes are the best in Abberus, the Shadowed Crucible.

- Holy Paladin
- Holy Priest
A-Tier
- Restoration Druid
- Preservation Evoker
- Mistweaver Monk

Raiding Healer Tier List Discussion
While the tier list rightfully puts certain classes over others, that does not mean that you should not invite healers that are lower in the tier list into your party. Higher placed specs are definitely better for progressing high-end WoW raiding, but in general, the healing specs are quite balanced this tier, and you should try to bring the player and not the class like it was in the past during certain raid tiers.
Our top spot was taken by Holy Paladin, which is a class that is really good this patch in general, but when it comes to healing, that is where they shine the most (pun intended). They received a rework that significantly improves their gameplay and allows them to do healing in high bursts, as well as sustained healing which is something that they were not that great at before. Light’s Protection does a great job at making big shields that absorb damage, which is always a good thing to have in a raid.
The healing specialization with versatility that always seems to lurk in the S-tier is the Holy Priest. There is just so much that this class can do when it comes to healing, and on top of that, Holy Priests have Power Infusion to boost someone’s DPS even further, and Symbol of Hope which prevents mana problems.
Classes in the A-tier are still good healers, but slightly weaker than the Hpally and Hpriest. Resto druid is quite a mobile healing spec, and setting up those healing bursts through Lifebloom and Rejuvenation before the damage is dealt can be quite nice. They also have a lot of useful cooldowns that can keep the raid alive, as well as defensive ones that keeps them alive which is a nice bonus.
Preservation Evokers are still as strong as they were during their release, as they do large bursts of healing to keep the party alive. While not the best healer, they are quite solid, and without a doubt, fun to play.
Mistweaver Monk might not be the best option for Mythic+, but it is a solid one for raiding as they can provide decent healing while being very mobile and they also have tools to increase their own survivability.
Restoration Shamans are decent in pretty much any fight, and the only part they lack some power in is AOE healing, as Healing Rain plays a big role in that. Requiring people to stay in one place for AOE healing can be pretty bad, especially on fights where moving all the time is mandatory.
Last but no least, we have the Disco Priest in its own tier, and this should come as no surprise. While they are fantastic when it comes to Mythic+, in raiding, they are just not as efficient. The healing they do is not good enough compared to other classes, but if you like doing some damage while healing, this is the class to play.

World of Warcraft Healer Tier List For Mythic+
Healing in Mythic+ is definitely way more stressful than healing in a raid, mostly because you are the only one healing the party. If someone makes a mistake, they will probably blame you for not healing them, even if it is not your fault, and while our World of Warcraft Healer tier list is not based on this, it certainly helped us place some specs in certain tiers.

Mythic+ Healer Tier List Discussion
Just like in the raiding tier list, when it comes to the World of Warcraft Healer tier list for Mythic+, the Holy Paladins reign supreme. The rework they received is just too good at the moment, and they do a great job in Mythic+ thanks to all the utility they can provide, along with high healing numbers. You cannot go wrong with having a Holy Paladin as your healer, and if you cannot get one, only then invite other healers for M+.
Restoration Shamans do a much better job in Mythic+ than they do in raids, as they can use all of the utility that their class offers on various encounters, especially trash mobs. The Spirit Link Totem is quite a lifesaver in a lot of scenarios, and it is something that a lot of people like to have in their parties.
Preservation Evoker also has a lot of utility, such as dispelling all kinds of effects with Cauterizing Flame, having a mass root through Landslide, and knocking things back with Wing Buffet. There are many other fun-to-use tools, such as Verdant Embrace, which is amazing mobility.
Restoration Druids are fantastic to have in a party, as Druids provide a lot of utility in Mythic+ in general. Of course, if you happen to have another Druid in the party, you might want to pick a different healer; still, if there are no other options, having two is completely fine.
Disco Priests might feel lackluster in raids, but in Mythic+ DPS and the cooldowns they can provide to the party are incredible. For skilled parties, if you cannot find a Holy Paladin in this patch, bringing a Discipline Priest might be your second-best option as proccing Atonement in a party is a breeze.
Holy Priest is the spec that finds itself in the B-tier this time, and that is because they are just not as strong as they are in raids. While they can still do a lot of healing, they cannot do as much DPS as Discipline Priests, which is why they are lower on the list.
Mistweaver Monk is placed all the way into the C-tier because they are just not that good for Mythic+. The main reason behind that is the fact that they just do not offer any good defensive cooldowns for their party. While they are fun to play, they are just outclassed by everyone else, and you might play a different spec on Monk if you want to do Mythic+ this season.
