The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom offers its players farming items like Lynel horns, rubies, and diamonds that can be used to enhance gameplay.

However, locating these items in the game’s early stages can be a painful task. Although you can top up the number of items you possess by completing side quests, it will take you long to purchase some of the most expensive items if this is the only method you use. However, you can acquire expensive in-game items by exploiting a glitch.

The most exciting part about the glitch is that it allows players to duplicate any item that can be attached to an arrow with a few clicks. That means you can create endless supplies by creating hundreds of copies per hour. Let us explore some of the methods to duplicate items in Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.

1. Throw Duplicate Method

The duplicating method in Tears of Kingdom is relatively simple but time-consuming, and players need to go step-by-step to make the most of it. However, remember that the glitch can be used only if you have one item you wish to dupe. The game’s assets limit duping items to a maximum of 20 times. Follow the process mentioned below to get started.

You need to unequip Link’s bow first. Then you must find a ledge that he can walk off.
Hold the R button and press the D-pad to choose an item to throw.
Select the items you wish to duplicate.
Hold the R button and walk off the ledge. Then press and hold up the D-pad before Link reaches the ground.
Use the X button and drop the item. Then release the R button to throw it. This will leave two items on the ground.
You can now pick only one of these two items and repeat the process until there are 21 items on the ground.

2. Shield Hop Duplicate Method

The shield hop method is an alternative to dupe up to five of any holdable items. It is better to opt for this method when you have the unbreakable Hylian Shield, as your equipped shield will get damaged during this process. However, it is worth taking the shot as this is one of the quickest methods to duplicate your items.

Perform a shield hop by pressing the X, A, and ZL buttons simultaneously.
Pause the game by pressing + while Link still remains in the air, and then head to the Materials menu.
Search for the items you want duplicated and choose the Hold option. You can dupe a minimum of five items at once.
Exit the menu by clicking on the B and Y buttons simultaneously.
You can pick up the piled items from the ground.

3. Glide Duplicate Method

The Glide method is one of the latest glitches discovered by a player that allows you to duplicate items within a matter of seconds. However, you will need Link’s paraglider, the item you want to duplicate, and a spot high enough to jump from. Once you have these essentials, you can follow the process given below to duplicate your item.

Place the item you want to be duplicated on the last slide of the Materials Menu.
You must jump from the ledge and open Link’s paraglider by clicking on the X button.
Press the + button to pause the game and move to the Materials menu.
Select the item and click the Hold option.
Then you must scroll to the item that must be duplicated and select the Hold button.
Unpause the game quickly and then re-pause by clicking the + button twice rapidly.
Repeat the same process three times before landing.
Pick up your duplicated item from the large pile.
