Clove is the latest addition to the roster of Agents in VALORANT. They’re also the very first non-binary Agent to be included in the game. Like other new agents, you will find Clove as a locked character in the ‘Agent’ tab. So, if you are wondering how to unlock Clove in VALORANT, you have come to the right place.

Clove is a Controller from Scotland with some really unique abilities. They can smoke after dying, heal like Reyna, and even revive themself with their ultimate.
One of the quickest ways to unlock Clove is by purchasing them instantly with 1,000 VALORANT Points (VP), the premium in-game currency. To do this, players can navigate to the Agents section within Valorant, select Clove, and choose the VP option to unlock the agent immediately.
You’ll need to purchase the VALORANT points with real money though, so this might not be the best option for everyone.
For players who prefer to unlock Clove for free, there is an opportunity to do so by participating in the Agent Recruitment Event. By earning 200,000 XP during this event, which typically lasts for a month, players can unlock Clove without spending any currency.
You can play any VALORANT game mode and accumulate XP until they reach the required amount. Once the milestone is achieved, they can proceed to the Agents section, select Clove, and choose the Recruit option to add Clove to their roster of agents.
Alternatively, for those who are willing to wait and save up in-game currency, Clove can be unlocked later by spending 8,000 Kingdom Credits (KC). Kingdom Credits are the in-game currency in VALORANT and can be earned by completing daily missions and other objectives.
Once the Agent Recruitment Event concludes, players can spend their hard-earned KC points to unlock Clove.
Additionally, Xbox Game Pass members have a unique opportunity to automatically unlock Clove by connecting their Riot Games account to their Xbox account. By doing so, members gain access to all agents, including new releases such as Clove, as soon as they become available.
