While Betway already has some experience in the world of esports, including their sponsorships to Dota 2 and CS:GO teams such as Ninjas in Pyjamas, ESL Pro League and ESL One, it recently came to knowledge that they were establishing a new contract with an emerging Dota 2 team that caught attention during the 2018 Dota Pro Circuit tournament.

The agreement settles full access for the brand to get the players into personal and social media activities, the creation of content in behalf of the brand and the Betway logo appearing in the player’s uniforms (Shirts, jackets, and jerseys).
Furthermore, the Betway CEO Anthony Werkman stated to be eager to add another winning team to their esports sponsorships: “Betway has always aimed to be at the forefront of the esports movement, and we look forward to partnering with yet another major player in the space.”
On the other side of the board, the representative and director of the Paris Saint-Germain Asia-Pacific also showed his pleasure to welcome the Betway Company to their ranks, eager to create more exciting and powerful content, as well as supporting a better team for the Dota 2 community to enjoy.
PSG.LGD is a rebranded Dota 2 esports team established with the support of the Chinese esports organization LGD Gaming and the French football club Paris Saint-Germain.
Moving forward, the Chinese based team achieved what was considered an “underdog rising story” during The International 2018 when climbing up to the grand finals during their first year of participation and after rampaging success in the Dota Pro Circuit. This way, PSG.LGD got the attention of some big sponsors, including Betway which showed eager to seal a deal to add more power to their Dota 2 sponsorships.
Furthermore, soon PSG.LGD will be listed among the Betway’s sponsorships on their websites, and we will hear a lot about this team, since they received a direct invitation to The International 2019 which will be held in Shangai at Mercedes-Benz Arena from August 20 to 25.
