Mercedes-Benz to become Trophy Carrier for Worlds 2024

Car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has announced it will be the trophy carrier for Worlds 2024, carrying the Summoners’ Cup around Europe.

Mercedes will use an electric G-Class at Worlds 2024 to carry the Summoners’ Cup

According to a release, Mercedes will be using the new electric G-Class SUV as the official trophy carrier vehicle for the World Championship, carrying the trophy across the three Worlds locations: Berlin, Paris, and London.

Additionally, the car brand will also provide the winning team with a set of Worlds champion rings and will launch a new campaign globally to celebrate its partnership with Riot Games and the event.

The electric G-Class is the latest version of the Mercedes-Benz models and it will be modified through its MANUFAKTUR program to feature several League of Legends details, including the Worlds logo stitched in the interior, and a trunk designed around the Summoner’s Cup, the Worlds Trophy.

Mercedes-Benz has been a well-known partner for Riot Games, having partnered with the publisher for several years in a row on all League of Legends global events. The car brand has been a presenting partner and official automotive partner, providing transportation for all players and staff during international events. Recently, Korean and T1 mid laner Faker also received a customized version of Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ following his induction to the game’s Hall of Legends as its inaugural member in May. The one-of-a-kind model includes Faker’s signature on its headrests and the Hall of Legends lettering on the floor.
