Oddin.gg, a leading provider of esports betting infrastructure, has announced the acquisition of GameScorekeeper, a specialist esports data company offering structured game, team, and player information.

With GameScorekeeper joining Oddin.gg, the company said operators can expect continued reliability, a richer data pipeline, and an accelerated pace of product development.

In a press release, Vlasta Venclik, Co-Founder and CEO of Oddin.gg stated, “Esports is entering a new phase where reliability, accuracy, and true expertise matter more than ever.

GameScorekeeper has built an outstanding reputation for high-quality data, and its founder’s mindset aligns perfectly with ours. This acquisition allows us to deliver even more powerful and unified data products to our partners and to continue shaping the future of esports betting.”

Partnership Aims to Drive Next Wave of Esports Innovation

Felix Klastrup, Founder of GameScorekeeper, commented, “Since 2016, our mission has been to make esports data accessible and actionable for businesses.

Joining forces with Oddin.gg means we bring our depth of data, widgets, and domain experience to a partner with global infrastructure and ambition. It enables us both to support clients more fully and drive the next wave of esports innovation.”

The company has been supplying its esports data and widgets to platforms such as PrizePicks and DraftKings

Details of the deal’s terms were not disclosed by either company. GameScorekeeper was founded in Aarhus, Denmark, in 2016. The company will contribute its archive of standardised historical data from over ten major esports titles.

Oddin Expanding Globally

Oddin, meanwhile, has deals with several major gaming platforms, including Stake, theScore, Allwyn, and Betway, among others, to power the companies’ esports betting solutions.

The company also recently gained certification to operate in Brazil’s newly regulated gambling market. It signed a deal with InPlaySoft earlier this year to supply its feed to a range of betting brands operating in Brazil and Latin America.

In addition to providing partners with its feed for major esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, and Free Fire, it also provides eSims. The simulated real sports games allow users to bet 24/7.

In addition to Brazil, it has also formed partnerships this year in Africa and a range of European countries, including Poland and Finland.

This follows the securing of a license in Arizona at the end of last year. It now has six licenses in North America, with Arizona adding to New Jersey, Colorado, West Virginia, Ohio, and Ontario.
