Oddin.gg Secures Brazil Certification for Esports Betting Expansion
Esports betting supplier Oddin.gg has received official certification from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), clearing the way for it to launch its esports iFrame product in Brazil under the country’s new iGaming regulations.
The SY-711 certification was issued by GLI, the first testing lab approved by Brazil’s Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas (SPA/MF). It confirms that Oddin.gg’s iFrame solution, including its Odds Feed, Risk Management, BetBuilder, Widgets, and 24/7 Fast Betting Content, meets Brazil’s standards for security, integrity, and operational compliance.

Brazil’s updated gambling law came into effect earlier in 2025, creating a framework to legalize and regulate online betting. Overseen by the SPA/MF, it introduced strict rules to protect consumers and ensure fair play.
Under the law, all licensed operators and suppliers must be certified by an SPA-approved lab and have a legal entity in Brazil. They must also store player data locally and implement responsible gaming measures, including biometric verification and anti-fraud tools.
According to Brazil’s Central Bank, residents already spend up to BRL 30 billion (around $5.5bn USD) each month on online betting. Esports is becoming an increasing part of that picture, helped by major events like IEM Rio 2024, which drew more than 710,000 peak viewers, up 26% from the previous year.
Alongside leading titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, and Free Fire, Oddin.gg’s 24/7 eSimulators, or “eSims,” are also growing in popularity. These simulated head-to-head matches, designed to feel like real sports betting, have proven especially popular for football. Oddin.gg is currently the only provider offering both male and female eFootball leagues.

“Securing SY-711 certification for our iFrame means licensed operators in Brazil can now offer a fully compliant esports product that’s built to perform from day one,” said Juana Bischoff, Senior Business Development Manager LATAM at Oddin.gg. “It opens the door to a younger generation of bettors who expect fast, interactive content—and gives operators the tools to meet that demand with confidence. With 24/7 betting options, built-in risk management, and a strong local appetite for titles like CS2 and eFootball, it’s a chance to grow sustainably while staying ahead of the regulatory curve. For anyone serious about the future of betting in Brazil, this is a key step.”
Mauricio Lima, Senior Business Development Manager LATAM (Brazil), added: “Brazil is one of our key strategic priorities, and this certification reinforces Oddin.gg’s long-term commitment to the market. It’s an important milestone in our mission to support local operators with solutions that meet regulatory standards and deliver the quality and engagement Brazilian bettors expect.”
