Radisson Hotels Offer “Esports Ready” Service for Teams and Players
Global hotel chain Radisson has unveiled a new program aimed at esports teams and players called “Esports Ready by Radisson Hotels.” The initiative, revealed by release on April 13, is aimed at making Radisson hotels a better space for teams to stay, practice, and participate in tournaments at.
Developed in part with Spacefwd, an esports and gaming-focused marketing and communications company, Radisson Hotel Group’s Esports Ready offering is designed to give a more bespoke offering to esports teams, players, and tournament organizers.

Radisson Hotel Group to Offer ‘Esports Ready’ Spaces to Teams and Players
As per their release Radisson Hotel Group explained that designated Esports Ready hotels will have the option for upgrades that include seamless 500 up and down internet connections with 100% uptime and cabled connections and flexible services such as early and late check-in and out and flexible catering.
Players will also have access to private gaming rooms, lounges, and secure storage, either near or within team accommodations. Teams and individual guests will also receive perks and discounts for using Esports Ready services, and customizable Esports Ready packages are available for esports teams and tournament organizers.
Hotels such as Radisson Blu Hotel, Cologne, Radisson Blu Hotel, Antwerp City Centre, Radisson RED Galway, Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Delhi Airport and Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Bangkok among many others are all reportedly ready to support esports teams every step of the way.
Esports.net understands that other hotels in the Radisson group have already hosted Esports Teams and handled tournament accommodation, such as ESL One Birmingham 2024, where the Radisson Blu Birmingham was the nexus of team accommodation. However, this new program will ensure that these stays are now tailormade for esports teams.
Angela Graun, VP Sales Operations, Radisson Hotel Group, says: “The high-stakes world of esports means every second counts, and every detail matters. Radisson Hotel Group understands the unique challenges the industry faces when it comes to demanding travel schedules, unpredictable practice times, the need for seamless and reliable connectivity and secure, functional spaces to strategize and unwind. With Esports Ready by Radisson Hotels, we can help overcome these hurdles impacting performance and event success. Thanks to our diverse global portfolio of thoughtfully designed properties, Radisson Hotel Group can cater to the specific needs of esports travelers and create seamless experiences that facilitate esports success.”
The move is a welcome one for esports teams and events, who often have to battle with sub-par accommodation and the unique demands of esports events. While hotels have often mastered the more traditional service options and meeting spaces, bespoke services for esports teams and events are a new horizon.
Previously, the Marriott Bonvoy partnered with the LEC to becoming the official hotel partner for the LEC Season Finals, but no dedicated offering came with it.
Perhaps the days of teams cooped up in hotel suites for practice and early parts of tournaments are over, as the hotel industry is finally waking up to some of the requirements of esports. Esports Ready spaces are available to book now.
