German esports data and analytics company Shikenso Analytics has partnered with Alliance (The Alliance), a notable European esports brand most known for its success in Dota 2 and for being player-owned.

Shikenso will provide Alliance with AI-based solutions to track partnerships and sponsorships over streams and social media.

Founded in 2017, Shikenso Analytics has quickly grown into one of esports’ most prominent analytics companies. Its AI-powered tools allow esports companies, such as organisations or tournament organisers, to precisely analyse the appearance of sponsor logos on screen during streams and on social media, among other things. This data then allows both the teams or organisers and their clients to better understand their partnerships’ value. For example, a team might realise that the sponsor logos appear more than they expected at first, allowing them to better negotiate partnerships in the future.

Shikenso is a partner of many notable esports brands, such as Team Liquid, MOUZ, GIANTX, Astralis, PGL and others.

Alliance is a Swedish esports brand best known for its success in early Dota 2 esports competitions, including winning The International in 2013. The team underwent a major rebranding in 2024 to kick off a new era of the brand and currently has teams in CS2, Marvel Snap, Apex Legends, PUBG Mobile, and other games. Interestingly, the team no longer competes in Dota 2.

Arwin Fallah-Shirazi, Co-CEO & Co-Founder at Shikenso Analytics, said: “Alliance is an exceptional organization with ambitious goals, and we’re proud to support them with advanced analytics solutions. Our tools will empower Alliance to maximize the value delivered to sponsors and accelerate their already impressive growth trajectory in the esports industry.”
