UFC Champion Khamzat Chimaev Signs with Nigma Galaxy as Brand Ambassador
UFC Middleweight Champion Khamzat Chimaev has officially signed with Nigma Galaxy as the organization’s newest brand ambassador.
Chimaev, who became the first athlete from the UAE to win a UFC title, has established himself as one of the country’s most celebrated sporting figures.
After securing the Middleweight Championship in August 2025, he celebrated with the UAE flag and was later honoured by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He also received UAE citizenship earlier this year and has frequently spoken about the pride he takes in representing the nation.
Chimaev will work with Nigma Galaxy to bring “his hallmark focus, discipline and winning mentality” into the organisation’s esports and education programmes.

Mohamed Morad, co-founder of Nigma Galaxy, commented: “This partnership symbolises the UAE’s pursuit of excellence. Khamzat embodies discipline, courage and determination, the same values that define Nigma Galaxy. Together, we are bridging the worlds of sport and esports to inspire young people with the belief that success comes through focus, teamwork and dedication.”
Under the deal, Chimaev will front motivational and educational initiatives across Nigma Galaxy Academy. He will introduce athlete-inspired modules on mindset, discipline and preparation intended to help young gamers “build high-performance habits, resilience and responsible digital engagement.”
The Academy will also set out “clear pathways for aspiring esports professionals, including progression tiers, mentorship, showcase events and routes into brand ambassadorship for standout talent,” according to the announcement.
Chimaev said of the ambassadorship: “I am proud to represent the UAE in everything I do. This country has supported me like family, and now I am fortunate to join Nigma Galaxy to inspire others. I have always been passionate about gaming and competition. The same mindset that drives me in the Octagon can help shape champions in esports too.”
The press release situates the partnership within a regional context, highlighting government programmes such as Dubai’s Programme for Gaming 2033 and the National Gaming and Esports Strategy, which are part of the broader effort to develop the gaming ecosystem in the region.
