Any established jungle player knows that they have to have an above-average Lee Sin pick. His mechanical as well as overall game understanding requirements are much higher but that’s also what makes the champion so satisfying to play. In the right hands, a strong Lee Sin player can single-handedly carry the game. In this list, we will go over the best three counters to increase your chances of victory.

Rek’Sai is able to match Lee Sin with her early game presence and skirmishing potential but on top of that, she can disrupt Lee Sin’s mobility thanks to her knockup. Regardless of what state she’s in, Rek’Sai will always work against Lee Sin.

Speaking of void champions, Bel’Veth is another one that works well into Lee Sin. She has been specifically designed to counter melee champions and the Blind Monk is no exception. Bel’Veth will always survive Lee Sin’s combos thanks to her E and then scale harder than him once items are built.
Karthus is also a scaling champion that does a wonderful job against Lee Sin. It doesn’t matter if he dies, as long as he keeps on farming resources and kills on the map to get more ability power. Later in the game, all Karthus has to do is press one button have blow Lee Sin’s health bar.
Sylas is one of the few champions I would never recommend playing into Lee Sin. This is because both champions are designed to win in extended skirmishes but the latter is much stronger early on and it’s easier for him to snowball. Avoid this matchup at all times.

While Talon is not as bad as Sylas, I still don’t enjoy playing him against Lee Sin since he can kick you away from your targets and he’s overall stronger during objective controls and skirmishes. It takes a Talon master to truly turn this matchup into a balanced one.

The three best counters are Rek’Sai, Bel’Veth, and Karthus. Other strong counters are Kindred, Ivern, and Lillia.
Jarvan IV doesn’t counter Lee Sin but this is more of a skill matchup. The key lies in the two players’ ability to impact the map through ganks and skirmishes. Both champions are capable of doing that: it comes down to who can do it better within the game.
