Ever since his rework, Udyr has had a particular presence in solo queue. He’s rarely the strongest champion in various meta, yet he’s able to clinch win rates above the average most of the times. As a champion designed to fight head-on against his enemies, Udyr struggles against Ivern. The latter brings a supportive playstyle that makes it hard for Udyr to successfully complete ganks. On top of that, Ivern has lots of crowd control to disrupt Udyr’s attempts at running towards his enemies, heavily disrupting his value during teamfights and objective controls.
While Uydr has a better jungle clear compared to Rek’Sai, the void jungler compensates for it with better map presence and a stronger early-game. Thanks to her tunnels, she can navigate the map at a much faster speed, finding better gank angles compared to her enemy. Additionally, she can consistently scout him on the map with her W.
While most bruisers would struggle against Udyr given his skirmishing power, Xin Zhao is one of the few who can match him. This is mainly thanks to the sustain coming from his passive and the ability to stack the Conqueror with auto attacks to gain adaptive force. Focus more on tracking him and counter gank though given that Udyr has faster jungle clears and will outpace you if you just kill jungle camps.

Bruisers typically struggle against Udyr and Lee Sin is no exception. During extended trades, the former will always get the upper hand with the higher damage and better sustain. Not to mention that he outfarms Lee Sin in most cases, making it a typically bad matchup for the Blind Monk.
As a champion designed to fight against melee champions, Graves struggles against Udyr given that a big part of his damage output is magic, which makes Graves’ E passive useless. Moreover, Graves has a relatively weak early map presence, allowing Udyr to gain control over early game objectives like Void Grubs and Drakes

Udyr has the advantage in most games against Viego given that the former is stronger early on. Udyr has faster early clears and will be able to contest objectives better. That said, a fed Viego won’t have issues dealing with Udyr so it comes down to who can snowball the leads on the teammates better.
