If you want to know how to win versus Wukong in LoL, these are the best counters you can always rely on.

Wukong struggles against magic damage champions and Lillia is probably one of the worst ones out there. She has enough damage and sustain to survive most of Wukong’s combos, and she will be able to put him to sleep with the ultimate at the start of fights.

If you want to play something that is not Lillia, then Karthus can be a great alternative. He has a faster jungle clear and he will be able to deal lots of damage from the very start of the game. It doesn’t matter if Karthus dies during the fights since he will always have the passive to deal additional damage and use the ultimate to finish Wukong off.
Diana is also another great pick against Wukong: what’s strong about her is that she’s one of the few melee AP champions that beat the Monkey king. She can burst him down with her combo and use her passive to get additional attacks in. Even if the enemy tries to use his W to escape, Diana has far too many tools to take him down.
Amumu typically struggles against bruisers and champions with dashes or high mobility. Wukong ticks both characteristics, making him a great champion into the Sad Mummy. If you know which champion the enemy plays, avoid picking Amumu into Wukong.
Similar to Amumu, Poppy can’t really handle Wukong despite being known as the anti-engage tool. This is because Wukong can get into range with his decoy and bait out Poppy’s W. He also shines in extended teamfights and Poppy never has the damage to shut him down unless with the help of multiple allies. Keep this in mind when playing her.

The three best counters are Lillia, Karthus, and Diana. Other strong counters are Volibear, Ekko and Skarner.
Even though he doesn’t have the highest win rate among all champions in the game, Viego can be considered a Wukong counter. This is because the Ruined King has a faster jungle clear early on and generally speaking, better skirmishing power. His DPS is also much higher which allows him to prevail in duels. The only way for Wukong to stop Viego if he’s able to punish him with the ultimate and take him down with his team.
