LCK Summer 2024 – 4 teams to Worlds
The LCK continues to be the leading force in the League of Legends competitive scene, as Gen.G was able to reign victorious at the 2024 MSI which took place in Chengdu, China.
Aside from the victory, T1 was also able to finish third, showing that the Korean region is still the most competitive region in the world.

The international results allowed the LCK to be assigned one additional slot for Worlds, giving four teams out of the 10 participating a chance to head to London for the most important tournament of the year. But before that, it’s time to talk about the LCK Summer Split.
The format
The LCK will continue to utilize the format of previous years. 10 teams will face off in a double round robin for the regular split, with all matches being Bo3. The top six teams will then head to the LCK playoffs where they will fight for the title in a double-elimination playoff bracket.
The winner and the team with the most championship points will qualify for Worlds as the first seed and second seed respectively. The four teams with the highest amount of championship points that haven’t qualified will then participate in the Regional Finals, which will determine the third (Main Event) and fourth seed (play-in stage).
LCK Summer Split schedule
The regular split will officially start on Wednesday, June 12, with matches taking place each week from Wednesday through Sunday. The regular split is expected to end on August 18. The schedule might be subject to changes given that T1 and Gen.G will likely have to participate in the Esports World Cup between July and August.
