5. Dudu
After a strong spring split, Dudu continues to deliver strong performances in a mid-pack team. He might not be the best player when it comes to the laning phase but you can often feel his impact during the games, regardless of the champions he plays. He’s mainly a weakside player but he can also have occasional exploits on carry champions like Rumble.
4. Kingen
Kingen moved up a rank compared to the last split as he has been steadily improving, especially when it comes to his champion pool. While he’s still not quite there with the top three, his solid presence has stabilized DK’s performance as the team has serious chances to qualify for Worlds 2024.
3. Zeus
Just like T1 as a whole, Zeus has also been struggling a little bit more during the summer split compared to the first part of the season. This is also because the guy is currently covering a main carry role within the team so his impact is felt a lot more whenever he’s not delivering to the maximum potential.
Regardless, we know that the guy has what it takes to take back the crown so it’s ultimately a matter of current form: we’ll see whether he will regain that before the end of the LCK summer playoffs.
2. Doran
Doran is currently the top laner with the most amount of solo kills, highest damage share and kill participation. This goes to show that the player is no longer just the “weakside” player that made him relevant during his time on Gen.G: he’s now an all-rounded player who will consistently fight for the top spots in the LCK.
1. Kiin
While you can debate that Gen.G is dominating the LCK so the individual players might not stand out as much, the numbers show that Kiin is just the undisputed best top laner in the league. He tops a lot of the key stats, especially the ones tied to the laning phase. I always thought of him as one of the best in his role ever since his Afreeca days, so I’m particularly glad now he’s able to shine on the Gen.G lineup.
