LCS Top Lane Power Rankings – 2024 Spring Split
5. Dhokla
NRG didn’t really live up to the expectations this season so far and Dhokla has also been affected performance wise. He hasn’t been able to play as well as last season and he has been slightly above average. Unfortunately, that won’t cut it and unless he steps it up a bit, he will only stay in fifth place among top laners this split.
4. Thanatos
Thanatos is coming into Cloud9 as one of the most anticipated players in the league, especially considering his past on the DK academy team. He might easily be among the very best but before we see that happening, he’ll slot in fourth place for now.
3. Licorice
Licorice is back on the competitive scene and there is a lot of expectations set on him. After he remained teamless during the offseason, Licorice was still considered one of the strongest top laners available on the market. Dignitas made the right decision to pick him up as he can bring both strong individual potential as well as leadership within the team.
2. Impact
Impact continues to be a solid top laner and he showed it at MSI as well. You don’t really expect him to carry you the games, but he will always have a constant presence during the teamfights. And for a team like TL that has plenty of firepower elsewhere on the map, it’s more than enough to get success.
1. Bwipo
Even though FlyQuest took a hard beating at MSI, in hindsight, PSG was performing a lot better than many would’ve expected. So the poor result doesn’t really take away the fact that Bwipo should still be considered the best top laner in the league. He’s one of the most communicative and innovative players in the role and he often finds new picks to get edges, making him all-rounded.
