LEC Roadtrip in Spring 2025 – What are they?

LEC Roadtrip is the newest introduction by Riot Games to allow fans to watch their favorite teams in offline settings. On the occasion of the LEC Spring Split, the tournament organizer allowed two teams to host matches in their own venues during the competitive season. This is a pilot initiative by Riot Games, as the company previously stated it would evaluate the concept for future expansion.

Unlike end-of-season matches, the LEC roadtrip still counts towards the scoreboard of the league. The main difference is that it gives granted teams the chance to create and design tailored events for their fans, bringing a different level of excitement and further reuniting the local fanbases.

Which LEC teams will have roadmap this split?

Before the start of the split, it was confirmed that both Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp have been given the chance to host roadtrip events. This is mainly due to the two influential fanbases they have built over the past few years in the local countries (Spain for Movistar KOI and France for Karmine Corp).

When will the events take place?

For Movistar KOI, the roadtrip will take place on April 26-27, 2025, at the Madrid Arena. For Karmine Corp, the offline event will be two weeks later, on May 10-11, at KC’s own esports venue, the Les Arènes in Evry.

Which teams are going to play offline?

For Movistar KOI, the offline matches will be against powerhouses G2 Esports, Fnatic, and GIANTX. The French team will also face G2, but they will be joined by Team Vitality and SK Gaming.

The tickets for Movistar KOI’s event can be bought at the following website. Unfortunately, the tickets for Karmine Corp have been sold out, given the team’s incredible popularity and affinity with the gaming world.
